The implementation of CURATORx is based on the close collaboration of two important organizations, bringing complementary expertise, experience, and a shared vision for leveraging technology in the cultural sector:
CWA – Creative Web Applications ΙΚΕ
CWA is an innovative Greek technology company based in Corfu, specializing in the design and development of web applications, mobile applications, and customized information systems. The team has many years of experience in IT projects, databases, and modern technologies such as Extended Reality (XR).
Within the CURATORx project, CWA acts as the technological coordinator and is responsible for the development of the platform, applications, and infrastructure. At the same time, it ensures the project’s sustainability through its commercial exploitation and promotion towards cultural organizations.
Special Account for Research Funds – Ionian University & Ionian University Museum
The Research Committee of the Ionian University and the University Museum form the academic pillar of the project. With a long-standing tradition in museology, cultural documentation, and research in the field of cultural heritage, they make a decisive contribution to the development of the project’s content, methodology, and scientific validity.
Within the CURATORx framework, they utilize the Ionian University’s museum collections as a pilot environment for the application and evaluation of the project’s new technologies.
The partnership between the two organizations ensures the robust technological and scientific implementation of CURATORx, while also strengthening the connection between academic research, the real market, and the needs of cultural organizations.
